Learn how to use a diversity of local and seasonal greens, herbs, fruits, vegetables and millets to create a zero carbon footprint diet. The wealth of local foods, their nutritional and ayurvedic values reflects the greatness of this culture. Many of these foods have been eclipsed by the industrialised agriculture and this workshop aims teaching people how to revalue them in traditional and fusion cooking styles.

We will walk around the farm and harvest a diversity of local and seasonal ingredients – Vegetables, varieties of spinach, roots, fruits, seeds and flowers. Followed by preparing the harvest into various indigenous and new recipes; porridge, green smoothies, salad, adai, curry, chutneys etc
