Spinal Health & Vibrational Sound Intensive with Bala & Santiago

Saturday October 12th, 3 to 6 pm in Joy Community Hall (opposite Center GH)

The vertical nature of the spine is like an energy super-highway. It aligns our central nervous system with the vertical energy flows of the universe. In this special 3-hour intensive we will release back tension, take greater care of your posture and explore the six degrees of freedom in your spine. When we have healthy movement of the spine, in all of its dimensions, it allows for a continuous flow of energy for our optimum physical, emotional and spiritual health.

Bala will lead you through a yoga routine consisting of poses and sequences based on Hatha and Yin yoga, while Santiago will create a vibrational space through live instruments that will help in stretching, strengthening, relaxing and rejuvenate your spine. Yoga is the fountain of youth. You’re only as young as your spine is flexible.

This intensive requires advance registration (at least 1 day in advance) and it is suitable for beginner to intermediate level students. The cost is Rs. 1000 for guests, Rs. 750 for guests under 30 years old, Rs. 500 for Auroville volounteers, and on donation for Aurovilians & Auroville New Comers. If you need more information and register for this intensive, you can contact directly Bala by phone or Whatsapp (+91 9892699804) or write to joycommunity@auroville.org.in.
