Morning Star invites the Auroville Community, Mothers, Families, Birth Workers & interested professionals to learn from and engage in discussion with global experts about the changing narrative of childbirth and midwifery in India. 

Our guest speakers are~

Indie from the UK, Director of Midwifery Services, Fernandez Foundation, Hyderabad. 
She will share her vision for the future of midwives in India. She will explain how midwifery works as a driving force for change and for the betterment of women and families in India.

Kim from USA, International Midwifery Educator, Fernandez Foundation, Hyderabad.  
She will speak about her role at Fernandez Foundation and training Indian midwives upto international standards.

Priya, Aurovillian and founder of Buddha Garden, will share her personal experiences of birth. She authored 2 books on midwifery and childbirth. 

Magesh is an Aurovillian from Aurogreen who is a young midwife and OBG nurse. She has 2 daughters and wants to see proper birth care for them and all the future mothers of India. 

Paula is an Aurovillian, Midwife, International Midwifery Educator, and executive of Morning Star Birth and Women’s Wellness Center. She will be sharing about the fatherhood research that demonstrates the ongoing evolution of midwifery care, our vision for fathers and families.
